The authors promised to make the seventh part of Tekken much more friendly to newcomers. Given that the series has always been incredibly difficult and, unlike many fighting games, relied more on the player’s mind than on the reaction, such promises were met with at least skepticism. The final version came out “average” – in the game there is an opportunity to choose the option “for the smallest”, in which the control is greatly simplified. Almost any complex movement in this mode is performed with the press of just two buttons.
Because of this, such games are usually a continuation of well-known series – it is not so easy to find the perfect new balance and bring it to perfection in the very first game. One of these famous game series is Tekken, whose seventh part has remained faithful to the canons – the most spectacular and at the same time thought out to the smallest detail. In fact, there are not many fighting games that are perceived as an esports discipline. The first sign of such projects has always been a refined balance and a huge variety of combat tactics, transforming the duel into a deliberate duel rather than an indistinct fierce brawl.
